It's a strange thing that I am sure a lot of us go through. You'd be busy doing things you normally do listening to music and then all of a sudden it seems like the lyrics of the song were written keeping you and your situation in mind. And form then on whenever you hear the song again it brings back memories of that particular time, place or person. Sometimes the memories are pleasant and sometimes they aren't.
When I was with Mr Oz in Bali we heard the song 'Baby, don't you break my heart slow' by Vonda Shepard which he thought fit our situation perfectly while for me it was 'I'm All right' by Madeleine Peyroux. And today while I was out for my evening walk I heard the song by Madeleine and thought about him and our time together in Bali- the good, the bad and the ugly.

even when you are with someone you can feel lonely.
I understand what you mean by that and to feel lonely when you are with somebody is the worst feeling ever.
It's like lying to your own self knowing that one day the bubble of self denial and compromise is going to burst, and when it does it hurts like WOW!!
