Birthdays
Birthdays are such a stressful day. If it's your then it's all the excitement and the expectations surrounding it and when it's someone you care for it's trying to make the day special for them that adds to the stress. I have come to believe that no matter what, birthdays are always disappointing and having mine on New Years Day doesn't help. Everyone is busy partying and if someone tries to get in touch with me at the stroke of midnight the cell phone network are always jammed. But birthdays are always happier when you have someone special to share it with. My happiest and saddest birthday have been with the same person and now every birthday means getting closer to being 30 and that is not a nice thought to live with keeping in mind that I am struggling with my personal life and am no where near where I'd want to be professionally. Hope this year is better I still have a few months to get things in order.
I have a birthday party to attend tomorrow and I am not looking forward to it. And on the same note it's Jorge's birthday today so Happy Birthday Jorge.

Hi Wandering Dervish! Not good timing having your birthday on New Year's Day. You need to celebrate your day +7 days??? Everyone has then recovered from New Year's Eve. Dont fear getting closer to 30. You will have wondrous things in your life ahead. I have celebrated 30, then 40 and recently 50--- a wonderful dinner on each occasion. It is all a mystery but it is never to be not experienced. You are still so young and have much love to give to all around you. Treasure the good and the tough times. Cheers. BrentonX
The +7 days is a good idea I think. It's nice to hear from you again. I'll remember your words on my next b'day.
