The love/hate game
I got me a hate comment today. I had two people who comment at the blog feel offended by me at the same time. One is the guy from Chandigarh and another is a guy with the initials R. I confused them both (the guy from Chandigarh also has the initials 'R') and they both thought I was ignoring them or mistaking them for someone else. I guess the secret is out that the Dervish is in a state of perpetual confusion. I am going to blame it on all the whirling!!
Anyone who knows me would tell you that I am confused most of the time. That is the reason I am not a very good driver. NSSG could vouch for that for when he came to Chandigarh and I took him around shopping and sightseeing I took every wrong turn that I could though I have lived in this city all my life.
I guess rather than make amends individually I would make a public apology that I never wanted to ignore or confuse anyone but if you'd leave your name or initials with you comment I be ever more thankful and less prone to make mistakes.
I am writing this post because a part of me doesn't well to not be 'liked'. The comments would keep running around my head all day long and that would give me a headache. Yes, that is the way it works in Dervish land. I am also making my email visible on the profile so that you could send me stink mails if you are still mad at me.

I am going to have 2 glasses of wine this afternoon, trying to work all of this out!!! Now Wandering Dervish, I told you the 'Plot Thickens' and it turned out to be a case of mistaken identities!!! So to the Gentlemen, who are not so happy with you, all I can say is that the Dervish is much loved in southern climes and would always be forgiven for any perpetual confusion!!! So this proves there are always balances in life. There can be Hate, but there is Love as well.
Well Mr Hyde you always manage to make me smile. And please be careful with the wine and in case you are be figure it out please explain it to me too cause I am as always 'confused'!!
I am thankful that I have you to balance my life!? What do you think of the way the blog looks now?
Dear Dervish, There has been much discussion here in regard to the new appearance of the blogsite. Mr Hyde loves the black background. The youngest member of the household likes the bold red print. The Master of the house recommends that you try to get the main text brighter if possible??? Other than that, all is looking good!!! Regards from the "Athens of the South".
Ahh at last someone appreciates all the effort. Thanks Mr Hyde and the harem ;-)
Your suggestions are much appreciated and I have tried a more contrasting text colour now! I had half the mind of switching back to the old format but I love the new banner and had put in some effort so wanted to give it a go. Keep the comments coming.
Dear Wandering Dervish,
Yes, the blog looks exceptionally good, but as a regular reader, I find it difficult to read what the title of the blog and the main quote is clearly . (maybe a larger font) It is a small criticism, I know, but we want the Dervish to have the most splendid of sites.
This is my first message as Master of the "Athens of the South"
Hi Master (that sounds kinky ;-) I wanted to shorten it to MOTH but that sound creepy) and thanks for your first comment on the blog. I will get down to tweaking the banner one of this days. It's a little complicated for someone like me who is photoshop challenged.
"the most splendid site" now that is a huge expectation to live up to but I would try my best.
I would say that you are the best driver I've ever had in India...you know where you are going. How are the plans for coming to Sydney?
Thanks NSSG. Well the visa is no where in sight so had to defer the course to January, provided the Visa is granted. Let's see how it works out!
