Live Earth

Saw a bit of the concert the Tokyo and Sydney part. But got bored after a while it was too long and too many artist that I didn't like all that much. But enjoyed the short films in between the performances especially the ones with the last 2 polar bears, Switch on switch off, Earth 2.0, and one called Light bulb. Enjoyed the music by Missy Higgins and John Butler Trio. The performance I was looking forward to was the one by Madonna but couldn't wait so long. Hope to catch it on 'Youtube' later.

Another great video form the Goddess. Though the video is more about global issues the lyrics are like a prayer for anyone who you hold dear to you. I read a post on Paul's blog called Paul up late. It's a phase that each one of goes through when we have just got out of one relationship and haven't learned to live on our own and we are miserable waiting for someone to fill the last person's shoes and make us feel loved and give us the high that we experienced with them. But as has been said in the lyrics of the song I believe that you cannot love someone until you love yourself. Hope the powerful message of the song speaks to you.

You can sulk and feel miserable about being alone or you can start to indulge in the things that interest you to get along with life. And when you least expect it out of the blue Mr. Right would come riding on a white horse (or maybe not, well let's say a white Mercedes). Positive feelings would attract positivity into your life and negative feelings would attract negativity. The choice is yours. Don't waste your life waiting. LIVE IT!!!

Global Warming may or may not be a priority for some of us depending upon how we look at it. There are some who are ardent supporters and then there those who believe it's just a doomsday conspiracy. I belong to the former group.While I was researching for the proposal for my thesis I came across these huge papers trying to get their point across and then today I came across this video which gets across the idea very effectively and at the same time being entertaining. Even for those who don't believe that climate change is for real the video is a worth a look for the Parkour. The insatiable consumption by man may one day lead to the destruction of all that we hold dear. We don't want no more Katrinas or Tsunamis let's respect nature.
