Break up - Make up
It seems like its patching up time in blog land. I observed that in the last two months there were quite a few bloggers who broke up from some serious relationships and now one of them is back with his sweetheart. Relationships need constant pruning and care like a plant to stay healthy and alive and only a few can put in all that effort. Usually it's only one person who does all the hard work while the other one does everything he can to ruin things. I also feel that the one who doesn't put in much effort is the one who plays the blame game. I guess it's cause of the guilt deep inside.
There are also the ones (which includes me to a certain extent) who are in the habit of being the martyr in the relationship. I would blame my upbringing and my mum for it. She is always been so giving in the relationship that she has sacrificed her identity and self in the process. That is the way I was in my first relationship but I am trying to learn my lessons and do some much needed damage control so that the future is better than the past.
It also hold true the other way around too. One of my ex was always looking for acceptance and attention from everyone he met because he was really ignored by his family as a child. His father is always been promiscuous and he in a way picked it up from him. So it seems like we are a reflection of our family in matters of heart but I think that some serious contemplation and soul searching can provide us the answers and guide us down the path of a blissful relationship.

Here we go again- Ray Charles and Norah Jones. I wanted to share this song about breaking up and accepting people back and this was the only video of the song available on You tube. It's a beautiful song from an amazing album, the last by Ray Charles - Genius Loves Company with some awesome duets. Dedicated to all those who believe in putting effort in a relationship, giving love a second chance and not running away at the first sign of trouble in paradise.
